Rob provides leadership for overall company performance. Responsibilities include day-to-day operations processes and procedures, strategy development and implementation of plans to grow Wanzek Construction. Rob brings a great deal of technical knowledge to his role, exemplified by his experience on-site and hands-on management style. During his tenure, Rob has implemented protocols which have improved efficiency in the Renewables Group and has frequently been recognized for outstanding achievements. An alumnus of North Dakota State University, Rob earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management.

Travis began his career at Wanzek in 2012 when he was hired as Accounting Manager, was later promoted to Controller and most recently named Chief Financial Officer.

Travis began his career at Wanzek in 2012 when he was hired as Accounting Manager, was later promoted to Controller and most recently named Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Travis directs the financing strategies, analysis, forecasting and budget management, along with accounting operations such as receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting. An alumnus of North Dakota State University, Travis earned his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Accounting.

Michael leads the Industrial Construction Team at Wanzek and MasTec Power Corp., a sister company of Wanzek. Responsible for the safety, quality, overall project execution and project financial results of Industrial and Industrial Services projects, Michael promotes Wanzek’s Core Beliefs and focuses on achieving overall business objectives. Responsible for attracting and retaining high level performers and industrial clients, Michael works to enhance Wanzek’s industrial capabilities through strategic planning, high level safety performance and best in class quality. He brings to Wanzek 33 years of experience in oil, gas, chemicals, pipelines, renewable energy markets, power and mining. An alumnus of the University of Southern Colorado, Michael holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering Technology.

Troy is responsible for directing all administrative functions of the Solar division in accordance with industry standards, regulatory agencies and company objectives and policies.

Troy is responsible for directing all administrative functions of the Solar division in accordance with industry standards, regulatory agencies and company objectives and policies. He has over 20 years of experience managing all phases of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) for solar, power, and gas and mining projects. Troy’s project management experience includes over 1.5GW of solar. He has been a leader in efficiency increases on solar projects, resulting in on time and on budget project completions. Troy attended California State University of Bakersfield, earning a Bachelor degree in Business Management, following which he earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration(MBA).

Matt leads the Renewable Services, Repower and Wind Construction groups where he will be focused on Delivering Excellence in everything that we do. Since joining Team Wanzek in July of 2018, Matt has made an impact on our organization through positive leadership and growing relationships. Prior to joining Wanzek, Matt spent his entire career working in the energy industry and brings with him a diverse background of experience in operations, maintenance, commercial skills, and leadership. Matt holds a Six-Sigma Black Belt certification along with his education at Massachusetts Maritime Academy where he studied Facilities and Environmental Engineering.

With over 20 years of experience in HR and operations support in industrial construction, Travis brings valuable leadership skills to the Wanzek team.

Jack leads the IT, corporate project management, and business program management teams, who collectively are responsible for maintaining and supporting business-critical applications while continuing to modernize and streamline the technology and processes that support the entire Wanzek organization.

Jack leads the IT, corporate project management, and business program management teams, who collectively are responsible for maintaining and supporting business-critical applications while continuing to modernize and streamline the technology and processes that support the entire Wanzek organization. Jack has 20+ years of experience in enterprise-level IT and technology consulting roles with a focus on application modernization to public cloud solutions. Jack completed Bachelor of Arts degrees in Computer Science, MIS, and Business Administration from the University of Jamestown along with a Master of Management in Information Technology from the University of Mary.

Neal leads the Estimating, Procurement & Technical Services, Preconstruction & Risk Management, Legal and Quality Departments at Wanzek, supporting successful project execution across all of Wanzek’s operating groups from origination through close out.

Neal leads the Estimating, Procurement & Technical Services, Preconstruction & Risk Management, Legal and Quality Departments at Wanzek, supporting successful project execution across all of Wanzek’s operating groups from origination through close out. He is an operations leader, certified PMP and a project finance specialist with experience successfully developing and implementing projects and corporate strategies in complex and challenging environments internationally. Neal graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and earned his Master of Arts in International Development with a concentration in Applied and Energy Economics from the International University of Japan.
