As president of MasTec’s Power & Industrial Group, Earl Collins leads and advises Wanzek teams in all aspects of business including market focus, strategic planning and growth opportunities.He has over 25 years of experience in the power and industrial industries. Before joining MasTec Earl was President of Willbros Group, President/ Global Director for EPC and Construction at CH2MHILL, and a Senior Vice President with Kiewit. Along with his technical knowledge and focus on safety, Earl strengthens Wanzek’s offering with his commitment to building excellence through all aspects of the company. Earl attended Iowa State University and holds a degree in Construction Engineering.

Kevin Gourde is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Wanzek Construction, Inc. Kevin is responsible for the development and execution of the financial strategy supporting the company’s business plans. He joined the company in 1992 serving as Controller, and was promoted to CFO in 1999. His experience also includes several years with a regional public accounting firm. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Minnesota State University-Moorhead, MN. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Construction Industry Finance Professional.

Bryce began his career at Wanzek in 2007 when he was hired as Equipment Operations Manager. Later promoted to Director of Equipment Operations and most recently named Vice President of Construction, Bryce’s progressive experience with heavy equipment operations, project management and development of client and vendor relationships have been an integral part of Wanzek’s growth-focused leadership. As Vice President of Construction, Bryce leads the Heavy/Civil and Equipment Departments at Wanzek. Responsible for end to end Heavy/Civil and Equipment Operations, crane service and the Wanzek shop, Bryce’s direction encompasses estimating and construction while aligning safety, project controls and project management. An alumnus of Mayville State University, Bryce earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.

As Vice President of Construction, Rob leads the Renewable Department at Wanzek. Responsible for construction projects from start to completion, Rob’s direction encompasses estimating, construction and safe and profitable execution of projects. Rob brings a great deal of technical knowledge to his role, exemplified by his experience on-site and hands-on management style. Wanzek Construction believes in using the latest technology when it comes to project management and Rob has excelled in pioneering this initiative with his team. An alumnus of North Dakota State University, Rob earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management.

As Vice President of Operations, Arnold manages the daily functions of Wanzek. Responsible for overseeing Quality, the Project Management Office and Project Services, he supervises those that provide needed services, processes and consistency to the construction groups.

Arnold utilizes his previous experience in many different Wanzek departments including project management, business development and operations to lead a large, innovative group to achieving client expectations safely, profitably and in a manner that is rewarding for both our clients and our teams. An alumnus of North Dakota State University, Arnold earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

As Vice President of Corporate Services, Randy leads the Human Resources, Training, Marketing and Communication and Business Development Departments at Wanzek. Responsible for workforce and succession planning, overseeing staff operations, leadership and development training, Randy allocates resources and talent to achieve collaboration and synergy across Wanzek’s corporate services. With nearly 20 years of experience in sales and human resources, Randy’s valuable experience and leadership of his team are an asset to Wanzek. Most recently, Randy was the West Region Manager for Titan Machinery. An alumnus of North Dakota State University, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business.

As Vice President of Construction, Michael leads the Industrial Construction Team at Wanzek and MasTec Power Corp., a sister company of Wanzek. Responsible for the safety, quality, and overall project execution, and project financial results, Michael promotes a positive and professional environment and focuses on achieving the overall business objectives. Responsible for attracting and retaining industrial clients, Michael works to enhance Wanzek’s industrial capabilities through strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting. He brings to Wanzek 30 years of experience in oil, gas, chemicals, pipelines renewable energy markets, power and mining. An alumnus of the University of Southern Colorado, Michael holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering Technology.

In his role as Vice President of Health, Safety and Environmental, Michael oversees Wanzek’s culture of safety and commitment to a culture of a Zero Injury workplace. Supervising a team of safety and administrative professionals, Michael ensures Wanzek’s compliance with federal, state and corporate environmental, health and safety regulations. Michael, a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), brings over 20 years of health and safety experience to Wanzek and was most recently Oil, Gas and Chemicals Sector HSE Director for CH2MHILL. An alumnus of Columbia Southern University, Michael earned his Master of Science Degree in Occupational Health & Safety Management.

Responsible for overseeing estimating, project services and personnel, John cultivates opportunity leads and relationships with new and existing clients to provide first class customer service. Most recently, John was the Field Engineering Manager-Major Projects Heavy Lifts for Siemens Energy, Inc., Houston, TX. An alumnus of Bismarck State College, John earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Energy Management.
