Prior to joining Wanzek Construction, Inc. in 1993, Rush was self-employed for 10 years as a general contractor specializing in concrete footings, foundations and structures.  Rush also managed multiple projects for three different municipal and commercial contractors as a general superintendent, estimator and project manager.  Rush brings years of experience on heavy civil and industrial projects with a tremendous track record of early completion. 

Responsibilities as Vice President, Wind Energy include managing a team of multiple project managers and engineers while maintaining long-term relationships with key clients. Rush also shares the following duties: review of bid documents, preparation of budget estimates, estimating and bidding, project scheduling, subcontract negotiation, shop drawing and submittal control, project administration, managing subcontractors, material expediting and cost control.
